An International Structure for Speaker and Language Characterization Activities

This is the home page of the Speaker and Language Characterization (SpLC) Special Interest Group (SIG) of the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA).

The main goal of SpLC is to animate scientific activities around the topics of speaker and language characterization. Activities are organized around four main areas. In addition, several transversal working groups are formed around specific topics.

Areas

  • Academic research on Speaker Characterization and Recognition;
  • Forensic aspects of Speaker Characterization and Recognition;
  • Language Characterization and Recognition;
  • Commercial Applications for Speaker and Language Recognition.

Working Groups

Volunteers are wanted to animate each area and each working group.
We are also open to any new proposals.
