This paper describes the application of speech recognition and text-to-speech synthesis to a voice interactive system that can be used for educational activities, such as skill training, self teaching in various primary and secondary school levels, etc. In addition, this system is suitable for disabled people because the user communicates with the system through voice and not only through the standard I/O PC devices.
