A Methodology to Quantify The Contribution of Visual and Prosodic Information to The Process of Speech Comprehension

We will report in this paper the results of a series of comprehension tests designed in order to investigate the contribution of visual and prosodic information to the process of comprehension of conversational speech. Particular attention will be paid to the methodology used. Our research follows the new interest in studying the integration of various sources of information in the process of speech perception and approaches the problem from the point of view of general comprehension.
