Preliminary Tools and Systems with Initial Experiences for Chinese Spoken Language Processing Tasks

Due to the feature characteristics of Chinese language, the spoken language processing technologies developed for Western alphabetic languages are not necessarily equally efficient when applied to Chinese language, and as a result a whole set of technologies specially for Chinese languages have been developed. This paper summarizes some preliminary tools and systems with initial experiences obtained with these technologies.
