From Reading to Spontaneous Dialogue: On the Track of an Information Processing Model to Explain Pitch Variations in Lexical Words

The aim of this paper is to present the adaptation of a model of expected / unexpected information processing. This model, based on an extension of Prince's (1983) and then of Brown's (1983) in the domain of shared knowledge, is processed in our works, first on reading and then on spontaneous dialogue. On the ground of the first results on spontaneous speech, we try to compare the results and also the speaker's strategies for those two different kinds of speech.
