From Near-Nil to Everyday Life: Speech Technology Based Telecommunication Services in Hungary

In the paper an overview will be given about the development of speech technology based telecommunications services in Hungary during the last ten years. It will combine the author's personal experience with analysis of the answers for a questionnaire, sent out to approximately 80 companies in Hungary. Examples of services developed with the participation of DTT TUB will also be reported.
