After a short overview of the System for Electrocutaneous Stimulation (SEHR-3), an articulation-based coding method for the synthesis of tactile speech is summarized. In its last part this paper describes a program that can be used to execute tracking experiments based on quasi-orthographic input with a tactile speech synthesizer.
