The goal of the positions is to contribute to the research foundation for speech technology in tomorrows conversational systems.
Anticipated specializations
•1. Conversational human-robot interaction
•2. Speech synthesis for human-like dialog
•3. Avatars that interact through speech, gesture or sign language
•4. Studies of situation-sensitive dialogue behavior
