FBK - Fondazione Bruno Kessler is situated in Trentino, a province in northern Italy. The foundation, with more than 350 researchers, conducts studies in the areas of Information Technology, Materials and Microsystems, Italo-Germanic studies, and Theological sciences. Thanks to a close network of alliances and collaborations, FBK also conducts research in theoretical nuclear physics, networking and telecommunications, and social sciences (studies of public policy effectiveness).

No. 4 Senior/Junior Researchers for the Research Program "Embedded Intelligence and Systems".

The Center for Information Technology - IRST (http://cit.fbk.eu) is launching a six year research program that aims at developing research on integrated, distributed, and intelligent systems that work in a range of different non structured environments (populated by both machines and humans), systems that can monitor, understand, and predict behaviors of actors in such environments, as well as realize complex functions in an autonomous and reliable way. We call this vision "Embedded Intelligence and Systems". The Research Program aims at joining the forces of different research groups with different research competences into transversal projects. No. 5 Senior/Junior Researchers for the Research Program "Future Internet".

The Center for Information Technology - IRST (http://cit.fbk.eu) is launching a six year research program that aims at developing research that will move internet from a network of computers and web pages to an Internet of Services, where applications live in the network and are available as services that can be easily used and combined, an Internet of Contents, where the available huge amount of (multimedia) data is transformed into useful information and knowledge, an Internet of Things, where objects for everyday life become electronic devices that participate actively to the network, and an Internet of People, where the physical, psychological, and social barriers to the use of internet are removed. The Research Program aims at joining the forces of different research groups with different research competences to build the Internet of the Future. We invite applications for research positions in the following areas:
