Senior Pattern Recognition Expert / Behavioral Analytics Location: Chicago area

Career opportunity for an experienced Pattern Recognition expert who wants to work with cutting-edge customer behavior analytics and help clients have more effective interactions with their customers. Will work with a newly-developed Behavioral Analytics product. Through this offering, you will apply advanced human behavioral models in the contact center environment, to enable the client to improve selling and service effectiveness.

The individual in this role will work with company employees at existing clients, and with senior management to develop and enhance Behavioral Analytics applications. Will also be responsible for specific applications, ensuring the design and pattern algorithms meet client’s requirements.

Desired Skills/Experience
This position will work out of a Chicago area office, with minimal travel required.
Some of the key responsibilities for this position are:
• Developing and enhancing the requirements, pattern algorithms and design of varying Behavioral Analytics applications.
• Leveraging existing functionality and continually enhancing the core application by working closely with the Behavioral Analytics team (development, testing, sales and business analysts), as well as senior management.
• Analyzing, verifying and documenting call pattern data, speech-mining data, and classification rules.
• Providing analytical support and problem resolution for existing customers of the service.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships between the company and its client business and technology staff interfacing with the service.

Required Skills/Experience: The ideal candidate for this position will have 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Additional requirements include:
• Extremely strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to look at large, complex data sets and synthesize relevant patterns
• Detail oriented, with a high degree of accuracy
• MBA preferred and Bachelors degree required
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Some relocation assistance is available for this position.
