Juan M. Garrido, Joaquim Llisterri, Carme de la Mota, Antonio Rios

Global properties of the F0 contour and local phenomena related to lexical stress have been analyzed in a set of read isolated sentences. The results have been compared with those obtained for the same set of sentences embedded in paragraphs. The results show that the main differences are concentrated on global F0 contours.

Keywords: Prosody, Reading Style, Declination, Stress.
