This article presents an effort to define a multimodal Agent-based dialogue platform cooperating with Internet technologies. We propose an open architecture integrating voice based and graphical user interfaces. We focus on third-party integration of speech technologies using the MRCP Internet protocol and streaming solutions over IP flows. This work is highlighted by a demonstrator, GEORAL, for the tourist information retrieval domain.
