This paper proposes enhancements to the Closed Phase Inverse Filtering (CPIF) [1], Iterative Adaptive Inverse Filtering (IAIF) [2] and LF [3] fitting algorithms for the automatic estimation of the glottal waveform from the speech signal. The paper compares the performance of these algorithms and provides statistics on the dynamics of the glottal waveform during non-pathological speech.
