Speaker Verification Based on the German VeriDat Database

This paper introduces the new German speaker verification (SV) database VeriDat as well as the system design, the baseline performance and the results of several experiments of our experimental speaker verification (SV) frame work. The main focus is how typical problems using real-world telephone speech can be avoided automatically by rejecting inputs to the enrollment or test material. Possible splittings of the data sets according to network type and acoustical environment are tested in cheating experiments.
