International Workshop on Models and Analysis of Vocal Emissions for Biomedical Applications (MAVEBA 1999)
An artificial method to analyse voice and speech, for automated diagnosis, is developed. Neuro-fuzzy expert system and a three-layer perceptron were used to classify phoniatric signals into four categories of disease. Simulation of the two different systems are referred, in order to show advantages and disadvantages of each system.
