Since only members of SynSIG may nominate and elect their peers, or be nominated and elected, we ask all ISCA members with an interest in speech synthesis who intend to participate in these elections but are not currently members of SynSIG, to join SynSIG by sending email to the steering committee (synsig@isca-speech.org). The official Announcement of Elections and Call for Nominations will be sent to all SynSIG subcribers on February 15, 2002. For the ISCA Special Interest Group on Speech Synthesis (SynSIG), Wolfgang Hess, Nick Campbell, Bernd Möbius, Jan van Santen - ISCApad will publish a list of accepted papers for publication in Speech Communication. These papers can viewed on the website of ScienceDirect (http://www.sciencedirect.com) if your institution has subscribe to Speech Communication.
