A three-year position as a post-doc with particular emphasis on research and prototype development is available at the Speech Processing and Transmission Lab (LPTV û Laboratorio de Procesamiento y Transmisin de Voz, http://www.die.uchile.cl/LPTV/) at Dept. Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (http://ingenieria.uchile.cl/) Universidad de Chile, Santiago, Chile. The successful candidate will join LPTV team composed of one professor, 3 research associates and research students to carry out research and prototype development of speech technology (speech recognition, TTS, speaker verification and speech analysis), and dialogue systems in the framework of academic and applied research projects in collaboration with local companies and international universities. Other Faculty members also collaborate with LPTV. The successful candidate should also have recently completed his/her Ph.D. and be the author/co-author of peer-review journal papers in order to apply for the post-doc grant funded by Fondecyt-Chile (http://www.fondecyt.cl/POSTDOCTORADOS.htm).
