SynSIG | Speech Synthesis Special Interest Group

Welcome to the ISCA SynSIG Web pages 

The aim of ISCA's Speech Synthesis Special Interest Group (SynSIG) is to promote the study of Speech Synthesis in general. Its international and multi-disciplinary nature provides a means for sharing information both to and from different research communities involved in the synthesis of various languages.

Duties

  • Report on SynSIG activities at the annual Interspeech conference
  • Put out call for bids for ISCA-supported Speech Synthesis Workshop and Blizzard Challenge events
  • Give assistance to organizers of said events
  • Collect relevant resources for researchers interested in Speech Synthesis

There is a new Google Group (since 2024) for discussion and announcements about speech synthesis:

People interested in speech synthesis and ISCA SynSIG activities can join this group. You can  to log in with a Google account, then request to join. If you do not have a Google account, you may want to create one. If it is not possible to create a Google account, you can subscribe to the list by sending an email to isca-synsig+subscribe@googlegroups.com.

Please note that there is already a Google group named synsig, which is why we created isca-synsig instead.
