Code of Ethics for Authors

ISCA is committed to publishing high-quality journals and conference proceedings, with

  • no fabrication, falsification of data breach
  • no (self-) plagiarism, no multiple submissions,
  • respect of copyrights,
  • respect of human rights, and 
  • responsible and accountable (co-) authors.

Code of Conduct for Conference and Workshop Attendees

ISCA is committed to providing a pleasant conference/workshop experience, without harassment or discrimination for anyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability and physical appearance.

  • Conference participants who engage in inappropriate behavior may be expelled without a refund, and suspended from future attendance to ISCA-sponsored events (ISCA ‘watch-list’).
  • If you encounter any trouble, please report to any ISCA Board member or send a message to ethics@isca-speech.org.

Code of Conduct for Challenge, Special Session, Tutorial and Workshop Organisers

ISCA is committed to supporting challenges, special sessions, tutorials and workshops that ensure the integrity, inclusivity, and scientific value of the event.

  • Any organizers who violate the Code of Conduct will be reported to the ISCA Ethics Committee.
  • Please report to any ISCA Board member or send a message to ethics@isca-speech.org.

Code of Conduct for Reviewers and Meta-Reviewers

ISCA is committed to scientific rigour through peer review that is free from conflicts of interest or breaches of confidentiality. 

  • Any peer reviewers who violate the Code of Conduct will be reported to the ISCA Ethics Committee and may face possible sanctions on future participation in ISCA events. 
  • Please report to any ISCA Board member or send a message to ethics@isca-speech.org.
